How to set up the labeling machine? As a necessary machine for businesses now, the labeling machine has always been a popular product. As the control of the commodity market becomes more and more strict, the demand for labeling machines will continue to increase. I don’t understand the settings of the standard machine, so I will give you a detailed introduction below.

Labeler settings:

1. Use the sharp edge of the peeling board for marking.

2. The distance from the peeling plate to the bottle should be minimized

3. The pre-bid distance should be reduced. Note that this will lead to variations in labeller styles, for example, pressure belt models require more pre-gauge than scraper models (consult the labeler supplier for details).

4. If PET backing paper/transparent surface material is used, label positioning sensors suitable for transparent materials, such as ultrasonic sensors or capacitive sensors, must be used.

5. When the label touches the surface of the bottle for the first time, it is necessary to apply pressure synchronously to ensure that all the air under the label is discharged, thereby avoiding air bubbles and wrinkles. “It is not recommended to touch the label after labeling.”

6. In some cases, such as carton labeling, inline labelers use brushes and low-density foam pressing rollers to label. However, for pressure-sensitive label applications, such as film labels on glass/plastic/wine bottles, brushes and low-density foam pressing rollers are not recommended, because the labeling requirements at this time are to achieve no bubbles on the labeling surface, no air ruffled. These devices do not apply enough pressure on the label surface to completely expel the air under the label.

7. Slowly apply enough pressure from the edge of the label to the back edge to ensure that the label is truly “adherent”.

Booster:

2-layer or 3-layer scraper type

Advantages: suitable for exhaust air, perfect pressure application, wide adjustment range.

Disadvantage: Pressure may change during labeling. Needs to be adjusted for the machine/bottle.

pressure belt type

Advantages: Suitable for when greater pressure is required.

Cons: Only works with round bottles. Precise positioning of the peel-off plate and pre-mark distance is required to prevent internal air bubbles.

touch the mark

Advantages: Suitable for high-speed production lines. Make sure the surface of the bottle is intact.

Disadvantage: Need to precisely position the peel-off plate and pre-mark distance to prevent internal air bubbles. More frequent routine maintenance is required due to high wear rates.
